Had ourselves a Merry little Christmas

Last night after Lochlan was in bed, Matt, Bryan and I had a relaxing evening of playing Monopoly and listening to Christmas music on Pandora. We all started noticing ourselves starting to get head colds, so we were trying to stay in the Christmas spirit.


St. Nick arrived while we were playing Monopoly!


Matt, Lochlan & I ended up being up much of last night, as Lochlan couldn't sleep due to being so congested and whatnot. It was a rough night, but we had a great morning opening presents. Nonnie & Beba sent the boys more trains (can't have enough trains around this house) and us a nice dessert server. Bryan had a package of gifts from the family in California, plus a bunch of gifts from us. Bry made a comment halfway through opening gifts that his wardrobe just tripled. LOL! So funny and true! Joannie sent Lochlan a great chunky puzzle that he loved and Santa was as good to Gavin as he was to Lochlan. After we opened our stockings and presents, we hung out playing with Lochlan's new toys, reading, and getting our Christmas meal prepared.

Matt made yet another awesome ham, as he did on Thanksgiving. The four of us (with the dogs begging at the kitchen gate) enjoyed the great meal, even if none of us had much of an appetite. Regardless of being sick, it has been such a great Christmas and we love having Bryan here, as do the boys. Definitely not a white Christmas, as it was over 50 degrees outside, but we are still thankful of all we have regardless.
