Incase you are wondering why we were measuring the zucchini, they are supposed to be harvested when they are 6-8". We measured the first one on 7/23, then measured it again the next day and it had grown 2" overnight!

Garden Update!!!
Just wanted to put up some photos of the garden over the past couple of weeks. It's finally coming around!!! We have our first few zucchini's and are anxiously awaiting other tasty treats in the very near future. Here are some photos showing the progression...

Looks great! We've been harvesting zuccini for a couple of weeks now and I love it. Are you growing lettuce? I would love to but it's (normally) too sunny here.
same here!!! we average 345 sunny days per year here, which is amazing, except our red leaf lettuce is scorched to death! HA!
