Our Year in Review

Another week come and gone and Lochlan is that much closer to being a year old. It's so wild to think that this time last year, Gavin came to live with us in Asheville (he moved in with us on 4th of July). Matt's sweet mom, Ann, stayed with us for the month of July and I have missed her dearly since then. Matt and I finally got married on July 7th. I say finally because after 14 years of him having the world's biggest crush on me, I finally consented and gave in. HAHA! ;)
As we all know the highlight of the year was the birth of our sweetest-little-man-on-the-planet, Lochlan Cloud Fletcher. I know I say/type it all of the time, but I really can't imagine not knowing this little boy. Every single day, he makes his mama laugh, smile, giggle, and even frown sometimes, but my heart bursts every time I just look at him. It's so amazing to think that the love Matt & I have for each other created this little guy and I would never change who he is for anything. I tell him a million times a day (at least), how much I love him, and every single time that I do, I think of how much I love his Papa just as much. Without Matt, I wouldn't have Lochlan, and now that I know how to really love unconditionally, I thank them both for letting me.
Cheers to life with an amazing husband and a just as amazing son. I love you guys so very much (and I'm sure you know, since I'm constantly reminding you both)! ;)
