End of fall

Fall has settled in, and the first snowfall fell on us last night! Gavin has been getting more comfortable with school and Lochlan has been enjoying gymnastics while Gavin is at school. The boys love their twice a day Burley rides on the days when Gavin has school. Over the past couple of weeks, we've been to the Wishing Star farm to play with the animals and pick out pumpkins from the patch, gone on a small number of hikes, carved our pumpkins (remind us next year not to go for the intricate designs. We broke a few carving tools, and I still have blisters on my hands), crafted and hung up Halloween decorations, did our Colorado Mountain Mamas Trek or Treat event, went trick or treating on our little street, gone to story time at the library and have gone to the zoo.
Matt turned 30 today and is headed to Vegas for the weekend with a couple of his friends. I am taking Lochlan into the mountains for a birthday party, to see old friends, etc. Gavin is visiting his mom for the weekend and one of Matt's sisters is flying here to see Gavin and his mom. Bryan is going to stay at the house with our dogs while we're gone. I'll post photos from our weekend in the mountains sometime next week. I'm so excited to get Lochlan on skis, I can barely stand it!
As always, click on photos to make them bigger!
