Pregnancy Photos

We had a good friend in Asheville, Jay Capodiferro, (http://www.jaytphotography.com) do a pre-natal photo shoot with us last summer, a couple of weeks before "Baby Fletch" was born. He does photography as a hobby and did it for free. He just emailed me the best shots yesterday, so thought I'd post them for all to see.

I can't believe Lochlan used to hang out in there. I can't imagine life without him now.
Jay, if you're reading this, we thank you so much and feel so honored you asked us to be your subjects for your first pregnancy shoot. You rock and so do your photos! I felt like they were a good representation of us and they will be treasured forever in our little family. We are going to frame that one of Matt & I and hang it in our bedroom. We love & miss you, Steph and Noah!

Lochlan turned 7 months old this week!

Here are some photos of the cutest little boy over the past couple of days. Hard to believe he's 7 months old already. He'll be bigger than his mama and asking for the car keys in no time!

Photos from this past week

We've been too busy to sit down and write a blog until late tonight, but I wanted to get something up here. We have been busy going to playgroups, having a friend in town, going to the Y, hiking, a Mardi Gras party, etc...
Here is a collection of photos from the past week!
My buddy, Tav, who the dog all the way on the right is named after. He came to visit us this week and the dogs kept him warm all night in the guest bedroom:

He didn't want to keep his mittens on no matter how much I begged him to. Then he got upset that his hands got cold:

Lochlan-Frosty

When I learned that I was pregnant, one of the first things I bought for the "baby" was this ridiculous Frosty the Snowman outfit. I forgot all about it, as it's been packed away and I just found it again the other day. I meant to put Lochlan in it at Christmas, but obviously that didn't happen. We put him in it today and Matt took some photos of him on the couch.

This poor kid is going to hate us some day.

Chunker Monker

I realized I couldn't put up photos of Gavin without putting up some of Lochlan. I just took these a few minutes ago of our sweet little man. Check out those rolls!

This week

We have done lots of stuff this past week, but I haven't been taking any pictures! Bummer! We got a membership to the Y last week and have been going almost every single day since. Matt's been working out in the evenings, and I've been taking the kids during the day or Gavin with me in the evenings. I've been working out as well as doing the yoga and pilates classes there. They have an awesome child watch program there, so I've been taking the boys there while I have mama time. After I'm done, I've been taking Lochlan in the small pool for swimming. He loves it and especially loves watching the other kids play in the pool. Gavin could care less about swimming and is very happy playing with the cars and trains in the child watch room, so he gets to spend about 90 minutes in there everyday.
Aside from the Y, I've been teaching Gavin some yoga over the past few weeks and he's really digging it. I've taught him the following asana's: tree, downward facing dog, triangle, airplane, bridge, lion, pretzel, fish, mountain and plow. He loves them all, except for the plow. We have done yoga everyday over the past few weeks except for the few days he's been with his mom. I got him a great book called My Daddy is a Pretzel and I have a kid's yoga dvd on hold at the library that I'm picking up this afternoon. I think if he watches other kids doing it, too, he'll like it even more!
Here's the start of the bridge pose:

He just left a few minutes ago to go to his mom's for the weekend, and will be back early Monday morning. Before he left (and after we were done with yoga), I took some fun shots of him in the living room. Enjoy and happy weekend!
