Lochlan's First School Christmas Performance

Lochlan's class at his preschool sang "This Little Light of Mine" for their school Christmas performance last night. In the first minute or so of the video, he is behind a girl in a plaid dress on the left hand side of the video. After a minute and a half, the little girl in front of him runs off the stage to her mom, so then you can see Lochlan standing there in a light green shirt and khaki-colored pants. It is really cute and the ending is hysterical!

Ice Skating-Attempt 1

We joined some friends in Gunnison on Sunday afternoon for some ice skating. Lochlan wasn't too sure what to make of it, but he lasted about 30 minutes! We will try again soon and hopefully Lochlan will grow to love it. If not, there's always "noboarding".

Noboarding!

Here is a photo of Lochlan from this past Saturday, learning how to "noboard". For some reason, he won't pronounce the "s" in snow, snowboarding, snowman, etc. So for the past couple of days, he keeps talking about how awesome "noboarding" was!

Tribute to a Frenchman

Back in August, our buddy UB (aka Uncle Bobby) came to visit us for about 6 days. We gave him a glimpse of our daily lives in Colorado Springs and brought him to Crested Butte for a few days as well (where he was called "SOOO East Coast" more than once-HAHA)! He came with us on some hikes, wine & dined us (even a Broadmoor $52 glass of Scotch for Matt, who is still talking about it), soaked in the hot springs, thought I was going to drive him off the edge of a Paradise Divide cliff, said hello to the giraffes at the zoo, and he even got to meet Mr. Hanky, the Christmas Poo! We miss him dearly and wish he lived closer. Lochlan still mentions Uncle Bobby almost everyday, so I know he has to come back and visit us someday, at least to appease Lochlan. At the end of the photos, there is a special message from Lochlan to UB.
Here are a ton of photos from his trip here.
